Choosing the perfect room for your stay at La Belle Eco

Every room at La Belle Eco feels different. Some are made for slow mornings and long baths with your partner, others for evenings spent with friends after dinner downstairs. Choosing the right room matters for the kind of experience you want your stay to have. 

The house offers the atmosphere of a lived-in homestead, meant to be intimate and connected to nature. Keeping true to the original style of the building and never wanting to lose the feeling of being at home, each room has been decorated with its own character, charm and story.

Miel

Designed for couples who want to disappear into their own world for a few days, Miel is a room for mornings spent drinking coffee in bed overlooking the park and evenings soaking in a bubble bath beneath the painted glass window. 

A bedroom, sitting room and bathroom give Miel the feeling of a private apartment rather than a traditional suite. At its center is a romantic four-poster bed facing one of the most beautiful trees in the park, while the separate sitting room offers a cozy space to relax after a day exploring the region.

The bathroom is home to one of the room’s most unique features. Above the bath sits a painted glass window created by renowned Toulouse artist Henri Gesthas in 1871. It remains one of the original details of the house and a reminder of its long history.

Flora

Flora feels bright, elegant and full of warmth. For those who always gravitate toward the sunniest corner of a café or the chair by the window, it feels instantly familiar. The south-facing room fills with sunlight throughout the day, while the regency-style seating area overlooking the park invites guests to slow down and observe. 

This is a room for readers, writers and daydreamers. The park becomes part of the experience, changing with the light throughout the day and offering something new to notice each time you look outside.

The elegant super king bed and decorative crown add a touch of fairytale charm, making it easy to understand why many guests describe Flora as feeling like a princess’s room.

Opium

Opium stands apart from the rest of the house. Inspired by the Orient Express and Victorian interiors, the room carries a darker and more dramatic atmosphere than the romantic aesthetics of other corners. Rich décor, ornate details and a carriage-like layout create the feeling of stepping into another era.

If you are drawn to vintage charm, hidden details and spaces with personality, you will feel right at home in Opium. Returning after dinner, close the door behind you and settle into a space that feels removed from the modern world outside.

Like any good secret, the room doesn’t reveal everything at once. Hidden behind an old linen closet is the room’s bathroom, one of its most memorable surprises. The large bed can be arranged as either a double or two singles, making the room well suited to friends traveling together. 

Etoile

A view of the garden, a Victorian bath and a sense of peace define Etoile. This intimate room offers a place to reconnect with your partner away from the distractions of everyday life. 

The garden becomes part of the experience, from the first morning light reflecting on the greenery to the golden glow that settles outside the window in the evening. Open space and tranquility replace busy streets and rushed mornings. 

The room’s smaller size only adds to its charm, creating a cozy atmosphere that draws people together. At the heart of it is also the luxurious bathroom, with a freestanding bathtub and a rainfall shower to unwind at the end of the day.

Montmartre

 If you like having a little more independence while traveling, Montmartre offers something none of the other rooms do. Large windows open onto a private balcony surrounded by trees, creating the feeling of staying in a treehouse while still enjoying the comfort of a fully equipped studio.

Perfect for longer stays with family or a group of friends, the room includes a double bed, a day bed and a kitchen with a coffee station. Guests can prepare their own meals when they feel like staying in or head downstairs to enjoy dinner with us.

As evening falls, the private balcony takes on a different character. The trees begin to silhouette against the sky and Montreal’s illuminated cathedral appears through the branches, creating a view unique to Montmartre.
