Reservations and Cancellation Policy
On booking, a non-refundable deposit equal to the first night’s stay will be charged to your debit/credit card to secure your reservation.
Packages with additional services included.
e.g. flowers, champagne and chocolates, will be charged for upon booking. Upon arrival a charge will be taken against your credit card to cover any unforeseen additional expenses.
If the reservation is cancelled less than one month before the arrival date, 50% of the entire stay will be charged if we are unable to re-sell the room.
If the reservation is cancelled less than two weeks or in the case of a no show, the cost of the entire stay will be charged to the card.
Please note that upon making a reservation and paying the non-refundable deposit, a legally binding contract exists between us. You will remain liable for the full amount of the cost of your booking, even if you are unable to take your holiday. Even where you have not paid in full at the time of cancellation, if you cancel outside of the cancellation terms, you will still be liable to pay the full balance due. If for some reason you do need to cancel your booking, it is important that you tell us at the first opportunity so that we may attempt to re-let your room and minimise your loss. In the event of an early departure, you will be liable for the full amount of the cost of your stay. In exceptional circumstances, this will be at the discretion of the owner.
We strongly recommend you purchase cancellation insurance to protect you against possible loss
Payment of Accounts
We kindly ask that all balances are paid on arrival, once you have inspected your room(s). Payment can be made in cash or by debit/credit card.
Children
While we do welcome children, please be advised that we are a working farm and that there are numerous items that could be considered dangerous to children, including but in no way limited to an unenclosed lake on the grounds. Children are the responsibility of their parents at all times while on the premises.
We do not provide any cots or high chairs and so kindly recommend that you travel with your own.
Groups
We do accept large group exclusive hire bookings.
We must be informed about the event at the time of the booking as there are alternative rules for group bookings.
Pets
We welcome well behaved dogs. We have a number of animals on the site and it is the owners responsibility to make sure that he/she in no way harms or interferes with any of the other animals.
While we do accept dogs off the lead, our dogs have free reign of the place, please be aware that our property is not enclosed and so we take no responsibility if your dog is to wonder off the property.
The owner is liable for any damage caused by their pet, including any distress that is caused to our livestock.
Non-availability of Accommodation
We would only cancel your reservation if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would, however, attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the reservation. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Arrival
Rooms are available from 4pm on the day of arrival and we kindly ask that you check in before 9pm
Please note we do not offer a permanent reception and therefore if you would like to check-in outside of these times it must be agreed prior to your arrival.
Any rooms not occupied or communications of lateness not made by 9pm will be considered as a no-show and La Belle Eco have the right to re-let any such room.
Unregistered Guests All guests are required to register on arrival. Management reserves the right to charge a fee of 100e per non-registered guest per night.
Departure You are requested to check out of your room(s) by 11am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. We will always try to accommodate a late check out where possible. We reserve the right to charge any guest who has not vacated their room by this time a subsequent night at the appropriate daily tariff.
We are happy to safely store luggage if your planned departure time from La Belle Eco is later in the day. Guests are welcome to stay on the grounds of the hotel until we begin our dinner time service that day when they will have to vacate.
Liability
The management will not accept responsibility for any valuables lost or mislaid unless handed in for safe custody.
Parking
The free, off road, car parking spaces are for patrons use, but we take no responsibility for any damages or losses incurred to vehicles in the car park, or property contained therein. You are reminded to take the usual precautions and not leave any valuables or other items on show in their vehicles.
Our total liability to you is limited to the price of the booking and under no circumstances will we be responsible for any indirect or special damages.
Privacy Policy
Any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed under the terms of the General Data Protection Regulations. Full details of our Privacy Policy can be found on our website.
Damage and Breakages
We kindly ask you to report any damage to fixtures and fittings as soon as it occurs as this will help ensure that repairs, replacement or cleaning works are carried out immediately and may help reduce the risk of further damage. Whilst we understand that accidents happen, we do reserve the right to charge for any cleaning or replacement costs.
Please be aware that items such as dressing gowns, small speakers, cosmetic bottles etc.. that are provided in your room for your comfort during your stay, that are not left in your room at the time of departure will be charged as if they have been removed from the property.
Smoking/Vaping
In compliance with legislation, it is illegal to smoke anywhere within the premises of La Belle Eco. We kindly ask that smoking is restricted to the designated smoking areas where ashtrays are provided.
We apply the same rules to vaping. Guests either found smoking/vaping within their rooms or remains of signs of smoking/vaping by leaning out of the windows will be asked to leave, with any accommodation monies already paid non-refundable. They will also be charged a fee of 100 euros to cover deep cleaning costs. We also reserve the right to charge for resetting the fire alarm, relocating guests, cleaning rooms and any other associated costs.
For our guests’ convenience, there are smoking/vaping areas provided – all are clearly marked and ashtrays are provided. Guests are respectfully asked to remain in this area when smoking/vaping and that they carefully extinguish any cigarettes/cigars into the containers provided.
Use of Wi-Fi
The provision of Wi-Fi services (excluding some restricted sites) are provided free of charge. However, we ask that due care and consideration is given to the amount and time taken downloading data and that all sites visited are of legal status only. Any downloads will be the sole legal responsibility of the operator. For safety purposes laptops should be turned off when left unattended.
Food
It is important that rooms and furnishings remain clean and fresh for the benefit of all guests. Therefore, the consumption of food is not permitted in the bedrooms. Dining together and meeting other like-minded people is at the heart of La Belle Eco so we all eat together. If we do discover evidence of hot take away food being eaten in the bedrooms, we will have no alternative but to charge you a deep cleanse charge.
Lunch
Is served buffet style and will be laid out for three hours when you are welcome to take your food and eat by yourself or join other members of the household. The menu will be available before you choose whether to book with us. You are welcome to stay in the cool of the dining room or out to any of the more private tables that are provided throughout the garden. If you do go out to enjoy an alfresco lunch we kindly ask that you bring your plates back to the dining room from where they will be cleared.
Dinner
Is served at a fixed time and we all eat together. It will be a 3-4 course meal. The full menu will be reported at the start of the week. We kindly ask that you book your meal 24 hours in advance. We will always do our best to accommodate requests later than this but a place at dinner cannot be guaranteed.
Please be sure to advise us at the time of booking of any allergies or intolerances.
Children under the age of 12 are not permitted at the dinner. We can provide an alternative kids menu for them which will be served earlier in the evening.
